A few questions for the Democrats on the board..

What are your thoughts about Rep. Tom Lantos?

How do you feel that he told General Petraeus that he wasn't going to believe the report that Petraeus had yet to give?

Let me ask you this: If things were going badly, do you think there is any way in hell that he would say as much? I'm inclined to believe that he is going to say anything that his commander in chief wants him to say.

I didn't think you or any others here would. I was just curious. I asked this on utefans and the dems/liberals sent me nasty boardmails praising Lantos and bashing Petraeus. Moveon.org and daily kos kind of hate.

Thus in Mr. Dodd's view, General Petraeus, returned from the Iraq battlefield, is a complicit ventriloquist's dummy.

Can this really be the new standard of political rhetoric across the Democratic Party?

Petraeus was unanimously confirmed for his position, by the way.

But don't question their patriotism. They support the troops.

The democratic party isn't what it used to be when my Dad and I were democrats.
