http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/?l...nges,553115208

78 kms by christmas (I wanted to do miles but I couldn't do it).
it works out to
day 1: 1km
day 2: 2km
day 3: 3km
etc
day 12: 12km
that's 78kms.

Finished those 78kms in 10 days and not 12. I was pretty happy about that.

You've become a mileage machine. Did you sign up for my new challenge?

Also, enter this one: The Mountain West has risen to 3rd place

I've never run 5k at once in my life.... before August. I did a 10k on Friday.

Hopefully I can continue putting up these miles. My clothes are starting to get baggy again and that is what it is all about.

I'm in the new challenge and signed up for the other one as well.

the challenges that really push me are these ones:

Every week the number of goals are scored in the Premier League is the amount of kilometers you have to run for the following week. it's about 31kms per week (although with the holiday this week, they are playing twice the amount of fixtures. It will be brutal). If you accept the challenge and reach it: 3 points for your team. If you accept and not reach it: 0 points, if you decline it: 1 point.

the other one is this one (you should do this one next year Steel):

You run for your favorite NFL team and compete against fans from the other teams and the average miles/week/runner is your score. Playoffs start next week and the texans are competing for a playoff spot this week.

These challenges are the ones really pushing me to want to run more. I'm a nerd and love it.
