Bikinis cool or immodest?
Assuming a gal is no longer a young woman, cool or immodest?
Do you really agree that the human form is so awful it needs to be covered like with a Burkha? And maybe I have become too gentile, but this social custom does not seem correct to me. And yes I'm aware it runs counter to decades of teachings regarding dress. Do practicing LDS all believe that, except perhaps yours truly? Women, what are your opinions? |

the flyers specify: NO TANKINIS. I think bikinis are awesome on Brooke Burke (yes, Junkie, I already know....) I dont think they are awesome on random wife in my ward who wears it to ward swim party. |
My question is this, more basic. What is so horrible about the human form, that we are ashamed of it?
Are they so afraid that everything leads to rampant orgies, or that we're unable to calm our thoughts? |
