It was huge, and I'm ticked that I don't get to evacuate.

It's God punishing CA because of the recent CA Supreme Court decision and the anti Prop 8ers....

... Sorry, couldn't resist. Hope you and yours are safe.

Are you in a tall building? I think that is why we have to get down now.

I am reading a 6 on the web? Not sure.

That thing felt like it kept going on for about 10-15 seconds.

I called home immediately and I could hear my kids crying in the background. I was panicked and asked if everything was ok. My wife was scared, too.

Curse you, gay marriage! Leave California alone!

I served my mish in NorCal.

Felt 2 earthquakes while there.

1 scared the poop out of me, and by the time it really hit me what was going on and I'd gotten under the doorway it had stopped, but the apartment complex was still swaying back n forth afterwards.

The other one I barely felt.

It was 5.8, based on early USGS report.

No, 2-story building.

That's the biggest I've ever felt, and that feeling of the earth heaving around underneath your feet is extremely unnerving.

On the same day that PG&E announces its opposition to Prop 8?

This can't be a coincidence.
