Who will win the US Open?

As for me, I'm going with good old Lefty. And for you Utah Homers, that would be Mickelson, not Weir. He's way to hot right to not play well this weekend. Tiger is in a funk and I'm guessing will end up 5 or 6 back.

I'll be Cheering for Phil, but from what I've read, this course is perfect for Geoff Ogilvy's game. I'll take Furyk in the "Other" Category.

I can't bet against Tiger in a tournament ending on Father's Day. I think he's going to do something special for dear old departed dad.

My call is Retief Goosen. The guy is nails in the majors, especially the last three years. Remember, this is the guy who didn't fold down the stretch in the US Open a couple of years ago when Tiger made a run.

You don't say? ;) I consider Weir a Canadian who just happens to live in Utah, so I knew exactly to whom you were referring. Besides, Mickelson married a Utahn, so it could be considered a Utah homer-in-law reference.

Well Furyk so far has been good, as has Lefty. Tiger is +6 over, and Goosen is +7 over, however considering all predictions show E winning it, they are not completely done yet. But they are hanging on by the skin of their teeth.

I just hope the leader after Day 1 Colin Montgomerie doesnt win, I cant stand the guy.

Nor do I want Poppin' Fresh to win it.

Didn't know that Gossen was at +7, as I've yet to see the scores.

I think it would be cool if an amateur won it.

I had a big crush on Phil Mickelsons wife during high school. But she was a hot cheerleader and I was just some scrub with braces. She was a nice gal though, and would smile and say hi to me in the hallway.

So, you're a Husky? I had some friends from Hillcrest back in the day. As for me, I'm an Alta Hawk.

So much for being able to see Tiger perform on Fathers day. It has been an incredible streak for making cuts though.

I haven't been able to watch any of the Open yet, thats what Saturday is for. It sounds brutal.

Nice work on the Furyk pick, Drum. He and Phil are looking good so far.

I picked Goosen and was wrong. Dang.

This is turning out to be a very interesting Open.
