Greg Ostertag.

How can this be happening again?

While I understand why so many folks are unhappy about it...

he does give the Jazz a defensive presence in the middle that they were lacking last year. There really isn't anyone out there who the Jazz could have brought in.

I'd rather see him with the Jazz than the Jazz not have somebody who can at least make it a bit more difficult for the other team around the basket.

I can't really argue with your logic

But just seeing his name in the starting line-up somehow fills me with foreboding and pessimism.

Props to Ostertag

After watching tonight's game, I must confess that Ostertag was OK. IF he played this well all the time everyone would like him.

I missed the game...

but it sounds like Tag did ok. Good for him.

I think his problem has been that he's approaced the season as a entire 82 game season. Perhaps if he could get a one-game-at-a-time approach in his head, he'd do much better. (Of course, I need to do the same as well - it would make itmuchesier on me as a fan to just enjoy eachgame as it is played rather than compare the Jazz to the other teams in the division.)

Jazz are off to a good start. Here's to the team keeping it up.

This one has me laughing creekster. You sound like your teenaged daughter just got pregnant for the second time.

That's pretty much the way it felt, Steelblue.
