This is actually SU's modus operandi. He's under the impression that Joseph Smith's divine calling was to single out Seattle Ute and play him for a fool. If true, it was pretty dang impressive to sucker a guy born 120 years or so after organizing the Church. Tremendous foresight, really.

Such foresight must surely prove at least one thing. If Mormonism is false, then God must hate SeattleUte.
