Buy books here -- support this site

As I've told you guys before, this site is a labor of love. However webhosting is not free. I'd like to start linking books here from Amazon, to help defray costs. This adds ZERO expense, but does allow about 4% of the purchase to go towards this site. It's a win-win. If you have any recommendations for additional books, or should you be planning to buy a book, perhaps you could consider allowing me to add a link. Thanks!

I couldn't make the ads actually show in a post, so I have created a small page to link to:

click here===================> Cougarguard Books

I'm going to make a new thread so the total can be seen in subj. line.
=======================
Running total to date: $1.53

Thanks for the support.

LOL. I'm there for you on the next book Waters.

I use amazon.com all the time. I will try to remember to go through your link.

if you just see orange generic banners on the page, try refreshing it a few times to actually see the books.

Question: If we follow your link and then buy something else (electronics, etc.), do you still get the referral fee?

MikeWaters 08-23-2005 01:04 AM

I believe so, but at a reduced rate. (in other words, if it is a direct link to the product the referral earnings are higher).

if we raise enough money, may be able to transfer the whole thing to better software: vbulletin. Examples of vbulletin:

You need donations for the site?

Rather than buying $20 books that I won't read and have the site get $1 per, I could just make a donation to the site directly......

MikeWaters 08-24-2005 08:02 PM

donation would be great. Boardmail me if you are interested, and I can provide info on how to do it.
