In the richest country in the history of the world, the fact that we have people that go hungry and don't have adequate minimal medical care astounds me. I'm not a big fan of socialized medicine, but we need a better option for universal minimal coverage.

the issue is that there is already things in place... we just need to make it easier for these people to take advantage of the programs
