There is no such thing as an intellectual testimony to coin the phrase. The intellect and the intellectual method is a method of questioning and inquiring. So a "higher witness" of the intellect is an oxymoron. Perhaps God can enlighten our minds, but it's not the same thing. You know this or should know it.

The intellectual process simply helps one understand intellectual information and data which one has acquired. It organizes.

A "spiritual" witness is sensation or emotion based, and is by nature fuzzy, somewhat unbounded and disorganized.
