I watch the show every week. I would say it has definitely inspired me to get off my butt and lose some weight. I'm almost 4 weeks in and I've gone from 201 to 189. I don't think it has set incorrect expectations for me though. I think people are smart enough to recognize that they are not in the same environment as the people on the show. I also look at it and see that I'm not as overweight as these people are so I don't expect to see similar results that they are seeing.
