No one who has a migraine is going to be at a basketball game.

One of my pet-peeves is people claiming they have a migraine, when in actuality they have a severe headache. Check here for the difference.

And, being a manager, employing 50+ college-age kids, I'm well acquainted with people claiming all sorts of excuses for skipping work. I believe about 10% of the excuses aren't all-out lies.
