Well, according to the city's official website, "1855 - Members of the Mormon Church choose Las Vegas as the site to build a fort halfway between Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, where they would travel to gather supplies. Indeed. I must admit that Flash and I found the local Mormon community quite charming...or its representatives, anyhow. Sadly, said representatives wore neither sequins nor feathers. Terribly disappointing. |
If you want sequins and feathers as a part of your Vegas Mormon experience, I believe you need to visit Archaea's ward.
