He did do King Tut, he was a Wild and Crazy guy, played the banjo, etc on SNL.
Frankly, as a host, he has been on more than most anybody (tom hanks, alec baldwin are up there, too, maybe more), but frankly, besides the really old sketches, I am not sure he has done too many super memorable ones in the last 15 or so years. He may have belted out a random funny one, but I cant seem to recall any recurring sketches based on the popularity of the character.

the King Tut skit was deemed hilarious by me and my crew, back in the day. And the VD hopping onto his lip.
