I'm not disputing that, I'm simply trying to put to bed some misconceptions. Price seemed to be a concern which is understandable as his only experience has been restaurant pricing. I just wanted him to know that he shouldn't let what liquor costs in a restaurant deter him from drinking on his own as you can get quality wine/booze/beer at very reasonable prices.
