You're missing an important point. It isn't just the supreme Court justices that are appointed by the Pres. There are tons of them in Fed judgeships. Those are the ones that scare me. Check out some of the decisions handed down by 7th district court and a few others. The liberal bias is changing our country and in my opinion, not for the best.

The 7th district court? What are you talking about?
You vastly overstate the ill effects a "liberal" judge could have at a district court level. There are appeals, and appeals of the appeals, and stare decisis and several other mechanisms to keep judges in check.
