Just a few cities that get more rain than Seattle:
NYC
New Orleans (about any major city in LA, actually)
Houston
Atlanta
Miami
Tallahassee
Wash, DC
Most of the Eastern Seaboard
In fact, Olympia is the rainiest city in Washington, far rainier than Seattle, and it's only the 24th rainiest city in the country. If you don't count the winter (which I think is fair, as when it's raining in Seattle in the winter, it's snowing everywhere else), Seattle's actually among the drier places in the country.
