I don't think BYU has played anyone so far this year that gives them any idea how know good they are (though of course the signs are very encouraging thus far). That isn't BYU's fault, but the teams BYU has beaten all seem pretty bad at this point. My only point has ever been that before we start getting down on Utah for no blowing the doors off other good teams (but winning), lets see BYU handle a good team.

The problem for BYU is that it would appear that there are only two good teams you will play. I think that AFA and UNLV could be competitive if they show up and don't get down early, but TCU and Utah are the real tests for BYU and every BYU fan knows it.

When it comes down to the end of the year if BYU is undefeated and people are having a serious conversation about BCS bowls and are comparing two loss SEC teams to BYU, it won't be the UCLA win or the Washington win BYU fans will be touting. BYU fans will be saying how good the MWC was this year and that it handled its business agasinst a very good TCU team and a very good Utah team (a Utah team who actually beat some good competition). This is exactly how it will play out.
Since Bronco has become head coach can you tell me a game in which BYU has played a crappy team and struggled to score? This is not your mothers Brigham Young Cougars.
