Why is this question not be asked by those who support him. I freely admit it's the single biggest concern I have about McCain who, traditionally, I would vote for. I'm not afraid to admit that this issue alone frightens me most and force me to abstain or vote for someone else.

Frankly, I'm a fan of the stronger executive, even if it's in the hands of a nitwit like Obama (all the more reason we should not elect nitwits like Obama).
When it comes to wartime authority, a strong executive is good for the country.
