Well, it
is racism, in the sense that X% of America and several entire states refuse to vote for him because he's black. So that would certainly be a reason for the loss -- you could likely make a strong argument that it's the primary or the only reason for the loss.
Surely if this were a white socialist, running against this very mismanaged opponent, in this political environment, this would be a blowout win for the Dems.
