The church is actually set up, in many respects, to prevent the abuse of a man in leadership.
That's why we have counselors and councils, and sustainings, as well as appeals.
But none of those systems will work if every single person just says "yessir".
As a rule, a person who can't take advice, and can't be questioned about anything, is probably going to be a crappy leader.
