Only a deeply insecure person keeps track of things like BYU is 55 places ahead on the US News rankings. Unless you're in the top 25 it's not worth noting; these are college rankings after all. They are both on first tier, and we both know why Utah's number is depressed. Eventually Utah legislators will have to limit enrollment like they have done at places like Washington and Michigan. I'm still wondering why BYU shot up 50 places from one year to the next. Utah's overall budget including reasearch his way higher than BYU's, and they are of comparable size.
