Throwing out head injuries and paralysis, what about torn up knees and broken bones and other messed up joints leading to lifelong trouble?

The game really needs to be smaller and slower. Maybe they need to start instituting weight limits by position. I guess in kids football, leagues often have rules about how big a running back can be. SO teams don't just take the biggest kid and have him mow over all the other kids.
