First admission: I'm from the city of sin and skin, so maybe that warps my perspective.

However, sometimes it seems LDS are so worried about skin, rightly so in light of certain pronouncements, that we start taking shame of a certain wonderful tabernacle of flesh.

Yes we need to control our thoughts if we wish to go where we want to go. Otherwise we'll go where we ought to go.

Yet, hiding the beautiful frames some people possess is a bit of a crime, don't some think, or am I just a dirty old man? That may be beside the point. We won't go there.

Case in point, my spouse has a beautiful physique, at least from my point of view. So is she supposed to hide it in a burkha?

My daughter shouldn't be exposed certain parts, but I don't want her looking like a nun either.

I am sometimes confused by the hide the body thing, and wish there were a happy medium.

What made the belly button so offensive?

What made shoulders such a sex item?

Yes we guys are like dogs but shouldn't some thought control be in order without clothing oureselves, acting ashamed of the human form?

Strike me down, I'm completely skin deep.
