Granted, I didn't find a lot on the 1984 Cougars, but I still hold that the Sports Illustrated articles could be used as primary sources for an academically-solid history paper. A really interesting one, too.

One of the things you learn once you get to know SeattleUte is that he'll refuse to recognize any legitimacy, authority, or gravitas of anything associated with BYU or the LDS church. If I were writing a paper about the 2004 Utes, he'd probably have several articles to contribute.
