I think most people who are not golfers really don't understand what a good or bad golf shot is. Thank goodness for Johnny Miller. I can remember one of the first years he was in the booth - I think it was Fred Couples who his a long iron from about 220 yards out and the ball stoped on the green about 20 feet from the pin. My cousin started to comment what a good shot Couples had made when Miller blurted out "That was a horrible shot. Fred can't be happy with that shot at all."

The camera on Couples turned on and Couples looked ticked.

The point of my little anecdote is that we hacks have a different idea what a good shot is than a pro.
