Escalante is a nice town. I like the remoteness of Boulder and Escalante. I read something about how the mail was delivered there on horseback until the 1950's or so.

Parowan is along I-15. My relatives are from Cedar City. Every year we make at least one pilgrimmage to Southern Utah so I'm fairly familiar with all of the small towns in Iron County.
