The last source I saw on this said that the average Mormon women average 3.3 children in their lifetime as opposed to something like 2.2 or 2.3 per woman for other American women. So the large family stereotype still fits somewhat. But it is certainly not as prevalent as it once was and the number has dropped by nearly half IIRC.
