I see that the trope of Christ arriving in a UFO/Spaceship is not my own invention, but rather a very old invention.
This is a film, that in terms of story and acting, holds its own some 50+ years later.

The political message in the film is a little heavy handed, IMO. We don't like you so we will force you to behave in a certain way because we are more powerful than you. That isn't a message God would deliver. Well, unless you are an evangelical.
