Buzzard. Metastatic cancer apparently.
It's created quite the heartfelt stir on CB. And with good reason. Real life colliding with internet life.
I don't know buzzard. I don't remember him from the old days of CB.
Getting back on CB a little bit....man it's changed a lot. Not that the tone or content has changed. That's changed very little, mainly due to the efforts of Jefe and his minions. But the posters have turned over quite a bit. It seems like most of the old hands are gone.
Obviously this site is an example of change. It's night and day different, comparing before and after Lebowski started his own site.
And it gets to the point of how fleeting life is in and of itself.
Perhaps all this stuff gets archived forever. But under a mountain of information. Likely forgotten. We will all be dead.
Gone, gone, gone. Even the format will seem so archaic in the future, that reading this will feel like going to the library and reading microfiche in our current day.
Goodbye buzzard. But it's a goodbye to all of us, in due time. Coming sooner than we think.
