I did a junior high project on cunieform. I had to write a paper, but you got extra credit if you provided a visual aid. So I bought a ton of play-do and rolled it out really thin and then used a wedge (it was actually a tupperware orange peeler) to make the characters.

You would have been my type of nerd. We did a play where I tried to make a few sentences in Egyptian. I was weird. Afterwards, to prove we weren't nerds, we drank the rum we made in organic chemistry through the process of distillation. It was strong stuff.
