First things I liked

1. it has a very specialized feel to it, in terms of all the different rooms with different purposes.
a. two laundry rooms (one upstairs)
b. server room
c. theatre room
2. Liked the open kitchen, living room area.
3. Very nice garage for the RV. Bigger than my house I think.
4. Three car garage attached to house (I would love to have 3 car)
5. all the techy stuff, like computer climate control. 5 mile of computer cable wiring. Integrated entertainment using a system that allows universal remotes all through the house to feed into the server room (where DVR, music, etc located).
6. pantry/food storage room (works like a walkin cooler where the worker feeds stuff into the back, and the consumer in the kitchen opens cabinet and takes closest stuff)
7. At 5200 sq feet, it's a big house, but it didn't feel too big actually. Credit to the design.
8. very nice kitchen cabinets, esp. over range, love that hardwood
9. Office area very nice, very roomy. Nice view.

Things I would improve on
1. I wasn't a fan of the hardwood floor selection. It's sort of like splitting the difference between new and antique, and it doesn't work for me.
2. carpet selection. I would have chosen a smooth plush tight-weave, not shag. This would help with the upstairs especially.
3. Slide on the pool is an eyesore. I would have gone with terraced waterfall. More upscale.
4. The pantry/food storage room is too small if you are going to have a one year supply (which there was not).
5. I understand the argument of not wasting unused space by making the master bedroom pretty small. But I think you're in the minority, and most potential buyers will be expecting a bigger room. It's out of scale.
6. The light switch with three switches in the upstairs common area was burning hot. Like uncomfortable to touch. I'm not sure if this is a wiring or load issue, related to the breakers that were blowing or not.
7. Did you have many ceiling fans installed? Can't remember. While ceiling fans are kind of ugly at times, they can really cut down on the utility bill.
8. Hard to get out of your driveway. The tire tracks in the mud, are mine.

A little more concrete for turning around would be nice.

Overall, considering the amount of work that went into everything, I have to say I am very impressed that FMCoug was able to do all of this, and still stay married and employed.
