Default Democratic Number Crunching:

Some stats I just conjured up, with seven states not yet having had their primary. Basically, I'm looking at the states which each candidate won, based on how they voted during the past two presidential elections, and then looked at the cumulative number of votes in the electoral college which each state represents.

States won that voted Democrat in 2000 and 2004 presidential elections:
Clinton: 7
Obama: 10

Count of Electoral College votes from states won in primary that voted Democrat in 2000 and 2004 presidential elections:
Clinton: 156
Obama: 83

States that voted Democrat in 2000, but Republican in 2004 presidential elections:
Clinton: 1
Obama: 1

Count of Electoral College votes:
Clinton: 5
Obama: 7

States that voted Democrat in 2004, but Republican in 2000 presidential elections:
Clinton: 1
Obama: 0

Count of Electoral College votes:
Clinton: 4
Obama: 0

States that voted Republican in 2000 and 2004 presidential elections:
Clinton: 8
Obama: 15

Count of Electoral College votes:
Clinton: 120
Obama: 110

Total number of states won in Primaries:
Clinton: 17
Obama: 27

Electoral College votes:
Clinton: 285
Obama: 202
