I was driving through uptown Dallas last weekend early in the morning, and saw a few hippies with their homemade signs hoofing it towards central downtown. No doubt having located some kind of free parking 10 blocks away from their final destination. Kind of the yuppie stoner look with tie-died t-shirts, probably drove in with Minis and VWs.
