Wow...you're way off on this. And normally, I respect your opinion.
Mitt didn't hire Stapley on as a political advisor. Stapley was not his chief spiritual advisor. This happened 30 years ago.
The differences are ENORMOUS.
By the way, I do think Mitt was responsible to answer for the church's positions on issues. However, I think Barrack has even more to answer for, and almost seems annoyed that anyone's asking him to do it.
