I once went to a BYU basketball game in the early 2000s. It was against New Mexico. I had a friend with me who didn't know much about either team but he does watch basketball. During pre-game warmups he commented on how big and athletic the New Mexico players looked. He seemed to think they looked like the better team by far.

BYU blew them out.

I am excited for the next few years. Emery we know will be good, and Haws can draw from his brother and dad's experience to help him get back in shape. He should be very good also. We also know Mika was good before his mission. Payton Dastrup could have gone to Ohio State, Virginia or Florida. I think we'll be pretty solid both inside and outside more than we've been for quite a few years.
