They are a scrappy over-performing team w/o a superstar.

But there are reasons to hate them anyway.

1. Isaiah Thomas. The kid is a great scorer in a ball-in-my-hand-the-entire-game kind of way. I'm just so over that kind of basketball. And he doesn't play any defense. He should be a 6th man sparkplug off the bench (like JJ Barea in 2011) on a good team. But instead he's the "superstar" of the Celtics.

2. Kelly Olynyk. He's just a punk. I hate his hair. He hurt Kevin Love with a cheap shot.

3. Marcus Smart. He's getting to be one of the dirtiest, cheapest players in the NBA. Flopper extraordinaire. Can't shoot worth a lick. He took a cheap shot on the Hawks player on a pick last night at the end of the game, when the Celtics still had the possibility of coming back. Stupid, worthless foul. But that's Marcus Smart for you. The kid can play some defense though. And his shot has gone from atrocious to just plain not good, which is a big improvement. I guess I'll be seeing more of him than I care to.
