- Joe Biden, on Republicans who oppose Obama's "jobs" bill: "I wish they had some notion what it’s like to be on the other side of a gun or a 200-pound man standing over you telling you to submit."
In case you're missing the context, he's wishing his political opponents had some idea of what it is like to be robbed and raped. Because of course, if they did, they'd pass Obama's bill.
Remember: Obama is "all for lowering the rhetoric."
