There was a moment with 2 minutes left, and BYU pushes the ball up the wing to Nick Emery. It's one on one. Emery inexplicably drives to the basket and takes a tough, dumb contested shot. Doesn't let any time go off the clock. And this is our experienced "smart" guard.

He looks like a little kid out there. His body is a joke.

TJ Haws looks like a guy who sings hymns in the BYU tunnels every Sunday evening.

With these two guys we will not even a "top-half WCC" backcourt in terms of athleticism.

I think Haws has more upside. He's taller, he knows somewhat how to use his height. Nick is a head-case. He is what he is. He makes me miss Matty Carlino.

Nick is the kind of guy that if he's on the other team you hate him. And if he's on your team, you hate him even more. PASS THE DAMN BALL YOU SELFISH GOONIE!

Poor Mika. LP1.

Coach is not much of a disciplinarian. He is affording the young players too much leeway.

Every time TJ throws a no look pass away, he should be forced to sit for five minutes, minimum.

Every time he does that over the shoulder pass that is intercepted he should sit for five minutes.

TJ needs muscle mass seriously.

Emery should sit for minutes each time he shoots for a contested long range three point basket.

Gonzaga will destroy BYU Thursday. Few can pick the spread and make BYU look like a drug dealer's whore before he kills her.
