And how naive are a lot of Trump voters? There are lots of comments around the internet these days about how great things are going to be in a few months. Judging from those comments, lots of unemployed or underemployed folks think they'll suddenly magically be in line for a great job after Trump has a couple of months to change the world. It's not going to happen. In fact, they should really be hoping that Trump can't implement the dopiest of his ideas like shutting down global trade, because that would make things a lot worse for those who can afford it the least. Now if all he does is tinker with tax rates or remove some federal regulations, then yes, it might marginally improve.
