I am not patrician but my ancestors were business owners. But that's not why I said that. Unions are generally fraught with narrow self-interest, besides being bad for business. They are also anti-globalization in general. Who cares what unions think. They are a step toward socialism and I say that not in a pajorative way but as an objective and historical fact.
