Doubtful. He's picked for the mid first round in every mock draft I've seen. Maybe he or his agent decided the combine doesn't improve his stock so they told the NBA not to invite him. Wiltjer was invited and I haven't seen any source claim that he's a better NBA prospect than Sabonis.
