Hmm, I wonder. Do you have empiric evidence for that?
Here's what I want to know. What are your chances of making a final NBA roster for the first game if you are a second rounder vs. if you are a free agent.
Or better yet, each year how many second rounders make a final roster, vs. the number of free-agent rookies that make rosters.
Or better yet, how many second rounders in the 2nd half of the 2nd round make the final roster, vs. free-agent rookies making the rosters of those same teams.
