We got our first rain since May this weekend and boy did it feel nice to run in those cool temps. My program called for only 13 today and I tried to find a pace that was comfortable without knowing what it was and just hold it. It turned out to be about 8:06/mile. I felt good at the end but don't believe I could have done it again at the same pace. I'm really curious as to how I'll do in my marathon next month. I'd love to hold that pace the whole way but I'm beginning to think that an 8:30/mile is more realistic.
