Long time observer on the “Board”, but never any real interest in joining. The Guard came highly recommended by a frequent contributor, who may or may not be aware that I know of his identity.

I’m 31 years old, married, 2 kids ages 5 and 2.

Yes, I am an avid cyclist; No, I’m not very good.

Yes, I own several pairs of Lycra/spandex shorts; No, I never been told that they look good on me.

Yes, I like show tunes; No, I am not gay.

I enjoy backpacking/climbing/repelling/spelunking when the Mrs. grants permission.

I watched the ’96 Cotton Bowl on my honeymoon, and no, that did not go over real well with the bride.

About 12 years ago I spent 2 years in Toronto knocking on doors and getting spat at. Yet, somehow I still feel some affection for those amoral Socialist bastards who charge way too much in sales tax but make the best candy bars in the world.

I’ve seen 13 Veggie Tales movies, my favorite of which is “The End of Silliness???” If you don’t know what this is, consult which someone who has a 2 year old.

I am a die-hard cougar fan, grad school at Creighton (Blue jays), mission to Toronto (Blue Jays), born in Kansas (a Royals fan and a Jayhawks basketball fan). Are you seeing a trend? Now if the 49ers would just change their uni color to blue, it would greatly simplify my game day wardrobe.
