Ironically, the older guys in my ward are less mullah-ish in their outlook (with some notable exceptions) than many of the younger guys in the EQ. I think time and experience have mellowed them.
Our hPG lessons are superior too (and I taught EQP for many years but never HPG so this conclusion goes against my own bias). I think Lebowski is right about the reason. It has more to do wiht the wealth of ewxperience in the memebrs than the limited time of the EQ instructor.
