It is still a regional religious group. Try finding one in Wisconsin, New Hampshire or Maine.

With the Church's strong anti-gay, anti-woman stance, it will be hard to gain any momentum among any group.

It is ironic that Muslims, who are very similar to LDS, are better perceived among several groups. Prop 8's damage is irreparable.
