I know the circle you run with think the best five running backs returning next year in the nation all will wear BYU blue, but I'm a bit more skeptical.
Fui's good, but he had half the carries CB had. CB was our leading pass catcher, and Fui caught only 10 passes. I think if teams game plan for Fui as the #1 back, he won't flourish as much.
All our RB's that return: Fui, Tonga, Harvey are big bruisers. None of them are in the mold of our #1 RB's of the past: Brown, Brathwaite, Staley, Jenkins, McKenzie, Hall, Willis. Hudson's not the answer.
Also, with a new QB and stud OL, it would be nice to have a very strong running game to help ease in the new QB.
