Just curious as to to why you say that "Ricky Johns was not the high school player that Jimmer was."
I never watched Johns in High School, but looking over his high school accomplishments, well, it is pretty terrific. He averaged 29 points per game, 5 rebounds, 4 assists as a senior. He was the leading scorer in all of New York City high school basketball. He was first team All-Bronx and he led his high school to the New York City public school championship. That seems like a pretty terrific career there.
After that, in JC ball, he was all Bronx first team both of his years, 2nd team JC All American and he averaged over 20 points per game his second season there.
Physically, Johns is also 6'3" and 190 pounds and very athletic. Is Jimmer really superior, on paper, than Johns in all of those things?
