It is interesting to see how much better the team is. I believe they are also better coached. I wonder if Rose spent a lot of time pissed off and frustrated when he was the assistant. I wonder if he genuinely believed the team could be better with better coaching. His comments about never telling the team they couldn't accomplish greatness seemed to me a rebuke of Cleveland who was more of a tell it like it is in an effort to perhaps dumb down expectations to a more reasonable level. Rose is more in the mold of Bronco and just lays down the expectations even if they are difficult to reach.

This season is a pleasant surprise, although I'm a bit surprised we don't screen more.
I also wonder if he's given up on getting Juco speed and hops, viewing it an unreasonable expectation, or whether he's just not been lucky.
Maybe he will be able to parlay this season's hoped for success into better access in those areas. Having an athletic center is not a foregone conclusion for us. Miles is a better representative of the typical center our Scandinavian forefathers can guarantee.
